Ingredient Description

Grapevines (Vitis vinifera) originate in Asia Minor and are grown in North Africa, the Middle East, and the southern regions of Europe. Each grape contains two to four seeds, which contain 12 to 13% oil. Grape seed oil is highly rich in linoleic acid (omega-6). This fatty acid is essential, because the human body cannot synthesize it. It is known for the important role it plays in the structure of cell membranes. This oil reduces transepidermal water loss by restoring the hydrolipidic film.
